Been stock forever except for Rush slip ons. Had a little extra cash, ordered PCV & Pro Billet A/C from Fuel Moto today. Will put it on & see how it feels. Then head to a HD dealer about an hour from here that prefers to use the PCV over the SERT (odd I know) when they tune & dyno. They have a good rep & probably are the most experienced at tuning with the PCV. Will let y'all know the results.
Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on the dyno tune. If you told Jamie about the rush slip ons he will have a map preloaded on the PCV and you won't have to do anything else.

I'm inclined to agree, mine had some decel pop with the preloaded map so I called Jamie & was sent a new map. I downloaded it to the PCV, presto, no more pop. Bike runs great & also cooler.
Dresser & Street...actually that was my plan. I went with FM because I figured he'd seen this simple combo & done many pulls to get a correct map & would have great service/support. I'd definitely call FM before forking any dyno cash out.
I have to disagree. A can map will work but if you want a perfect tune for your bike you will need a dyno tune performed by a qualified dyno tune tech.
Update. Pro Billet A/C & PC V came today. Easy install. All I can say is I can't believe I waited so long. Took it out for an hour ride. In traffic, back road twisties & Interstate. Jamie & the boys at Fuel Moto were spot on with this map. Personally, don't feel like it needs a dyno tune. Throttle response is terrific, smooth & couldn't believe how much cooler it was running. I was out in 93 heat. I recommend if you were thinking about pulling the trigger, go for it. You will really be happy.

Thanks for the update. My '04 RK even sounded better, almost mellow, after I installed a PC V, and no more backfiring through the intake when accelerating from a stop. It was the best single mod I've done for that bike.
