Gears two tall on my 07 RKC, so do I
(1) Reduce the number of teeth on the front pulley
(2) Increase the number of teeth on the rear pulley
(3) Stop worrying and ride the evermore **** out of it,
"but that ainta-gunna happen" I care too much about
fuel price and keeping my bike alive till I die.
Buddy reduced his front pulley by 1 tooth and said it makes a big difference. That is on an 09 Ultra. Have you considered a cam job?

I should add that reducing the pulley he had to go with an after market belt and immediately went on a cross country trip breaking 3 belts. After replacig the rear pulley which was pretty worn he has been okay.
