There's something about that corner. The youtube channel it's on is full of crashes there, sport bikes, Harleys, there's even a guy on a scooter that eats it.

Riding a motorcycle with little ground clearance requires the rider to lean into the apex of the turn with the body while keeping the motorcycle more upright than when body and bike are leaning together. This conserves lean angle and tire contact patch.

In short, he used up all his available ground clearance and levered the wheels off the pavement (slightly) and low sided the bike. He was a Harley Davidson Owner, not a Rider.

Too much throttle input during the corner on and off the throttle while cornering, His body position during the corner, didn't slow to appropriate speed before entering the corner. It is not the bike it is the rider in this case. I ride a 2014 Ultra limited and could have gotten through this same corner without issue. Technique while cornering is a great skill to possess. Some counter balance or peg weighting would have helped this rider tremendously.

He was moving toward the white line, getting ready to go off the road. In a turn that indicates excessive speed. I like the Pee Wee Herman "I meant to do that" look on his face when he gets up and walks away.

I think he was too concerned with staring at the butt of the boy on the sport bike in front of him and he started day dreaming about giving head and lost concentration on the road.
