And while they might build a sub-par bikethey know how to package it and market it. And if they can make serious dough doing that, then more power to em. I can't fault these guys for being successful, but I really don't like their bikes. I suppose that I am just too practical to enjoy a $40,000 bike that someone else built. Half the fun is putting a concept together and putting it into practicemyself. I would take no pride in riding someone else's concept.
There used to be a custom bike shop that used to be a dealer for OCC. They stopped due to so many problems with the bikes. Brakes, Wiring, Rear Wheel, Motor. He even had one bikes downtube crack after the owner had the bike a week. He said they would never return calls when called about the problems. OCC also had problems with the company their warranties were thru. Did not honor warranties.

So they're building a factory....everybody's always accusing their bikes of being just production bikes, maybe they said "Hey, that's not a bad idea! Easy money, less labor for us!" I don't beleive the ever had the intention of being star-studded film stars instead of down home bike builders, just when the situation presented itself, that would be something hard to say no to. But, I don't know anything about them being a&&hole$ or anything like that.
