Sad, not too far from me, rode through there recently.
Audi driver prolly a tourist, looking at scenery instead of driving.

condolences to the family. the older i get, the less something like this bothers me. it was just his day to die...we have all done a lot of dumb things thru the years that could have gotten us killed. it just was not meant to be at that time. our time is coming.

at the same time, it would be nice if people would quit posting these stories all the time. riding motorcycles is a risky proposition, and we all know the chances we take every time we get on a bike.

You know, I debated on whether to post it or not, the rider did nothing wrong and I decided to post because somehow it just might save somebody else after reading it. We are all in the same boat.

i hope you are right and it helps someone avoid an accident. i know that reading all these stories has made me very wary coming up to an intersection...almost to the point that it takes some of the enjoyment out of riding.

Just saw TV report that a lady turned in front of a Harley rider just northwest of San Antonio and initial report is he is unconscious and not breathing. This seems to happen weekly here.
