Default Got a voltage problem

Kind of a long read but here goes.......

Riding an 08 Street Glide. Installed a new battery about 2 months ago from Batteries +. A few days ago, I noticed that just pulling in the clutch that I was getting static noise coming from the radio. Thought maybe the clutch cable was pulling on the antenna connector on the back. Pulled the fairing and checked everything, nothing found. Made sure all connections were good and buttoned it up. Been keeping any eye on my voltage regulator since then and it's been showing just a hair over 14V. Tonight, get on the bike to ride home from work. Pulled out on the highway and when I hit 3rd gear the engine and battery dash light came on. Pulled over and shut it off. Turned back on and no lights. Got back out and again battery and engine light came on. Noticed that the voltage meter was showing 11.5V. It never dropped below that all the way home. Checked battery voltage and it showed 12.1 volts, lower than it should be but ok. Started bike and voltage went up to 12.4 and increased when engine revved, again, as it should. Went ahead and checked wire continuity from stator and it checked good.

I'm thinking the new battery has a bad cell. What do the experts think?

I think you have a problem with the voltage regulator.

If you had 11.5V with the bike running, the voltage regulator is bad. It may be intermittent, but its bad.
