Not sure where to post this. I'm tired of seeing all my stock parts sitting in my garage. I'm thinking about getting my lower forks chromed to match the wheels I just put on. I will remove and re-install as it does not appear hard.
Sure I can buy the HD kit for $700 but why? I asked my dealer for suggestions for chrome plating nearby. He said they would send out to a place in CA but don't do anything local due to HD standards. I can't believe there's no one in WI that does this??? Looking for suggestions.
We send our stuff to Meclec in California as they do the best job...If you are just talking about fork lowers, give Joe at ***** Shiny a call. He does an exchange program and his parts are excellent from a quality standpoint. I have used many 'exchange program' fork lowers and Joe's are the only ones that did not need any working over on my end to put them together. The threaded holes are all tapped and ready to go....
