Anyone ever use this guy on E-Bay?..He sells the complete fork assembly with chromed lowers for a few dollars more than Harley gets for just the lowers. Any feedback is appreciated.. Blooz
Man, this post is killing me. I have had chrome tins for ages waiting for me to deciede on fork options. I wimped out and bought just the sliders and paid a shop to install them, and of course he did the tims for free. But the point is, I could easily have spent less, bought complete forks like the ones you listed, done it myself and saved the cash. After thinking about it, your way is clearly the better option, and the one I should have taken. I got lazy, and went the easy route. Oh well. At least post up some pics of the work once you get them on. I would also love to hear about the quality of the complete forks.

I was able to pick up the new in box HD fork kit on Ebay for $265. Included everything to chrome out the front end. If I understand the add correctly this guy wants $450 just for the slider assembly and the only plus I can see is that you don't have to disassemble the forks?
Looks like nice stuff! Bought my lowers from another seller on ebay.
I'd go the extra mile and take the forks apart. You're already 2/3's there by having the front end apart. Save $250 bucks in the process.
Either way, Cool upgrade! You'll love it!

$450.00 for the whole enchilada...Lowers and tubes pre-assembled
Lot of other stuff in the HD fork kit including cowbells, front cover, axle and triple tree caps. But if you want preassembled lowers and tubes, I guess this is what you should buy.
