Hi there recently acquired 2005 flhtpi have issues w biketronics radio everything wired correctly without harness lights come on plays cds but cannot get any functions to work volume, am/fm, aux, etc. Was wondering if anyone can help? Also found wire harness and several other wire and plugs not hooked up not sure if I need them or not? Bike runs good just wish I knew what they all operate?

Hi,
On a normal police install the radio is all on its own, no handlebar controller unless handlebar radio controls got added at some point. So if the front controls on the faceplate are not working it is something with the radio or connection behind the faceplate.
I would try resetting the radio, some have a little button behind the face you have to hold for 15 sec and some you have to pull the negative bat cable for a couple mins.
You could also try pushing on the faceplate while hitting a button to see if it makes a difference.
If needed give us a holler tomorrow and we can try and figure out is going on.
