Default Travel Pack Storage help!

Hey guys! When I got my street glide it came with the tour pack and I love having it! But... I don't ride with it ever but when I need it I love having it! But can you guys show me what you all do for storage! I'm thinking about a suspension type system from my ceiling of my garage? Anyone done anything like this or maybe have other ideas? I know HD sells one but it's like a million dollars! Thanks guys in advance!

OK, I know this is old, and I'm sorry.

The best place I foundto store my detachable TourPak was on my bike.

I added aTourPakto my 2006 RG, and made it detachable. Soon after I got it, i took it off, and washed the bike.. I went for a ride and stopped somewhere. I had to leave my helmet on the seat. I came back and the helmet was on the ground. So, since the TourPak had extra brake lights, and I couldn't see the TourPak when I was riding, I just never took it off unless I was washing the bike

Hey, I ride a Road Glide. I obviously am not that worried about looks. So I figured Iimight as well always bave the TourPak with me. I figure that with the extra brake Iights, it's safer. It's more conveneient. Plus, the thousands and thousands of beautiful ladies I pick up like to have a place to put their purses, aphrodisiacs, and seductive lingerie.... yeah, that's it. I'll soon find out if my wife reads this....

yeah, I'm lazy. I just leave it on the bike. It's almost like it was made to sit there.

I took some slotted angle, threaded rod, and a length of tubing that fit the mounts... 1/2 dia I believe. screwed to the wall and away we go. wish I had pictures...but I found that on here someplace. back in the summer. just a couple of bucks for the rod and tubing, had the angle, not a tight snug fit, but good enough to store the seat back and luggage rack.
