Default Problem w/Clutch Cable?

Ok, quick question guys,

For starters: I recently (last night) installed a sound system on my bike. but in order to have the speakers where I want them I had to zip tie the clutch cable to the mounting bracket (on the handlebar) so it will not push my left speaker to face out.
Question: Does anyone see a problem with my clutch cable being zip tied to the bracket (as shown in pictures).

My clutch cable doesnt have any spots where it might be bent, only some small curves if you will.

I know what some of you might be thinking, I already cut the zip tie. The sight of the zip tie was driving me nuts. I should have taken photos after I cut it off

You will need to watch for binding of the cable. If it doesn't move freely it will have the chance to bind and cause problems. Also you increase chance of wearing through the cable where it rubs the mounting bracket. If you ride the bike and there are no issues I would say it's not the best option but you should be ok.

Might want to consider re routing the cable in FRONT of your handlebars. if you can't go to the front then if you can keep the zip tie loose it will be better. A loose tie will allow the cable to move a bit without binding, and it will slow down abrasion of the cable sheath. You may also need to adjust the free play in the cable now that its been re routed.

Yup! Absolutely needs to be in front of the bars. Then maybe just a "loose" zip tie to keep it from scuffing your windshield.

Been a while since I have been on sorry. I have since adjusted the speakers out of the way of the cable. But now I am worried about you guys comments saying the cable should be in front of the bar. Have I had the cables wrong this whole time? I have had it setup this way a good 2+ years =\
