Default Forks

Hi I just changed fork seals on my 883. (2005) 39mm I have 6over stock. When I took old ones apart. There was spring and 2 inch plug so my plugs for 6 over was no good so I made 8 inch plug to make up diff it was hard to get caps on and after first ride I can hear springs in tubes 10oz of oil in each one but sounds like springs are loose. Any help would be great
Thanks Rick
