Here's my dyno run from my 15 Roadglide. Has a 2:1 Python, SE ventilator and woods tw-777 cams. Power drops off after 4,000rpm. Tuner told me it could be a few things causing that, short pipe, intake not letting enough air in, cam timing might be off a tooth, or oil pump o ring. What do you guys think?
Any head work? What compression are you running ? What tuner are you using? There's a lot of info that you left off that could help in determining what's up!
No head work yet, stock compression. Running the se super tuner pro. Had a very reputable tuner dyno it. I'm thinking I may be a tooth off on cam timing.
You really need to have a bump up in compression and some head work to match for those cams to do what they do best. Without that, the bikes gonna be just a touch better than a "Stage 1" stock motor.
I have to agree with OldEnuf. You need more compression and some head work to get the 777's to do what they do. I'm running the 777's with head work, 10.5 compression, Agitator intake, stock 50mm TB with a Dragula 1 and my tuner told me my engine wanted more fuel and air. My bike with this set up is making 104hp and 109tq and is fun to ride for a big ole geezer glide. I just don't think the cost of a heavy breather, 58mm TB and injectors is worth it vs the six or so more hp-tq I might gain.
