Default Code P0118 ET sensor open or high

I took my 08 Heritage Softail to the car wash Saturday, after washing it up I cranked her up and the check engine light came on. I figured out how to check my codes and P0118 came up in which its ET Sensor open or high. Why would this happen after washing it? I've looked for loose wires but cannot find any. I'm not sure where the sensor is, my manual says its one place and online it says it somewhere else. Looked in both places and still saw no loose wires. Could it be a fuse?? Please help

The Engine Temp Sensor is right behind the horn screwed in to the back of the front cylinder. Had issues with mine as well. Mine turned out to be a broken wire in the harness. Wire was broken inside the wire sheath.

I see something there but it is totally covered with some sort of a boot. Does that sound familiar? And the picture was way blurry to the point I couldn't see it. Thanks for the reply!
