Lots of good minds on this forum, so I'm just throwing this out there to see if anyone can come up with a good solution. The OEM seat that came with my new 2017 Ultra Limited Low is also a special low profile seat with a part number that you can't even find yet at Harley Davidson's website (52000173). After just one ride of 150 miles I knew I was not going to be happy with this seat. Immediately bought and love the Hammock. I do ..... my wife doesn't! Couldn't figure out at first why she was uncomfortable, but now I know why. The OEM seat measures 13" from the slot for the rider back rest to end of seat. The new Hammock measures just over 11". So, the Hammock is wider for both rider and passenger, but is shorter for the passenger. This causes the passenger tailbone to be right on the very end of the seat when sitting up straight with back against the tour-pak. We tried placing a cushion from a lawn chair between her back and the tour-pak and that corrected the problem. The tour-pak is already adjusted as far forward as it will go. Hate the thought of always carrying a lawn chair cushion, so any better ideas out there????

Sounds like you have the 2013 and earlier hammock and not the 2014+ model.
I have a Hammock for me, because I go on long rides. My wife never goes on long rides, so I bought a used Ultra seat for when we're two-up. The Ultra has the thickest, cushiest passenger section out there.
