I was hooking up a battery tender when all of a sudden one of the wires hit my bike and caused it to spark. When I went to start it ,I found out I had no power going in to the ignition switch so right a way. I'm thinking I blow the coil out so I replaced it and still no power to the ignition so I replaced the ignition switch and still no power to the ignition switch. I take the two tanks off and inspected the wire and found a flat like box with a 12 pin plug in 6 pine's on each side of the plug and I don't know what it is yet being my first Harley and all. could that be the reason for no power to my ignition switch.

There is no logic to your troubleshooting, all you are doing is throwing money away.
There is no reason to buy an electrical part until you know (by troubleshooting) that the part is bad.
Get out your factory service manual and the wiring diagram will show you where the ignition switch gets its power from (the main fuse).
When you have a tech question, remember not all Harleys are the same, once you tell us the model and year of the bike, you can get some detailed help.
