Strange Error Code.. BO 5 err
I went for a ride today and after being parked for 10min I noticed that when I started the bike I got an error message in the odometer that said... BO 5 err.. or the 5 could have been an S but not quite sure. I also noticed that the red key light would come on at idle along with the yellow engine lite and then the tach would stop working. If I gave it a little gas and held it there the tach would start working again and then the lights would go out. . It ran fine the whole way home but every time I would stop at a light the same thing would happen again at idle. I know there are a load of codes but I thought I might get lucky and this might be a very common one that someone might recognize? I tried the procedur outlined on Harley Hogs site but it would not work as it has before....Any ideas?[/align]
