Default little help please

Riding in this morning I noticed something odd with my bike. 2012 street glide with abs. Every time I started from a stop, as soon as I got to 10 mph, the light on my speedometer would cut out. As soon as I got to 3000 rpm's, the light on the tach would cut out. Both gauges would continue working but with out the light. When I would come to a stop, both lights would come back on and the check engine light would illuminate for about 5 seconds and shut off. Happened this exact sequence time and time again. I think I know what I am doing this week end. Any ideas where to start?

I would start with all the easy basic things. Check your battery check for loose wires and connections especially grabounds.

Okay, I noticed that when the rpms are brought up, the voltage gauge spikes. Does that mean that the voltage regulator is not working properly. There are several codes but I have not written them down yet.

2012 voltage regulators in your model had problems. I would research that first. Overcharging will turn electronics off as well.

ED R is correct. Lots of problems with intermittent voltage regulators in 2012. Check the codes you are getting.... If its the voltage regulator you'll have high/low voltage faults.

I had the voltage regulator changed on recall. If this is the problem then this will be the third one in there

Codes are as follows:
B0563, B1006, B1007,
Couple others but those are for the O2 sensors I no longer use
