FXDWG Floorboards

Looking at the above kit. According to HD it won't fit my 2017 Wide Glide. I've been searching apparently the Tommy gun exhaust is the issue. Also through searching I've determined some after-market exhaust fixes the issue. However, I now have short shots can anyone say if they will now work?

Also if you have a better solution that works also. All your time and answers are appreciated.

If you want floorboards trade the Wideglide in on a Switchback.

My dad has that kit on his 2009 fxdc. It fits with the stock headers and slipons. Shortshots I couldn't tell you, I guess it really depends on the front pipe of the exhaust.

I am trying to figure out the same thing for my wide glide. I have a generic brand big radius exhaust.
