Default could have been dead (handlebar riser)

i cant believe this happened. i may never ride a bike again. i have 16 inch apes on my bike. and i just got home off the highway. went to put my bike in the shed and the handlebar riser broke right in half.were talking 1 inch thick risers i have no control over the wheel.i cant even amagine what could have happened. i need to find out who made these risers.and mabe even file a suit on them.this is unbelievable.

Wow. Thats some scarry chit expecially if you bought from a dealer and not some guy off ebay.

ill post some pictures when i take the riser off tomarrow. and if i find out who makes the riser i will put the name on here for everyone to stay away from that brand.i have wild 1 handlebars and i think the riser is a wild 1 too.

They'd be 1.25" inch if they're Wild1.

i had a pair or 4" pullback break due to overtightening where they wrap around the bottom of the bar. when it happened i noticed it was just a cast metal. i blamed it on me not paying attention and buying cheap chinese swap meet crap.

ya it is a cast metal.i didnt buy them just bought the bike right before winter. its my first harley. who sells a good set of risers.to bad they dont make them out of titanium.i live buy a drag specialties dealer. do you thing they can get me a good set.

I've been using Wild1 risers. They withstood a slide through a patch of gravel which broke the clutch lever and clutch lever housing and bent the handlebars.

i believe these are cheap risers made by custom chrome. yes the wild ones look like quality billet pieces.
