Default Winter storage

How critical is it that my 2017 Fatboy has both tires off the ground for winter storage. Can't get a good balance point without my atv jack resting on the shocks.

If you don't get both wheels off the ground comfortable maybe try putting some plywood under the tires. I don't know how important it is but I've always at least put wood under the tires to keep them off the concrete or whatever ground it was on.

It's no big deal. Some guys will slightly over pressurized the tires during winter storage. Think about it this way: Thousands of bikes are stored at Harley dealers throughout the snow belt every year. No jacks or lifts. No special tire care.

I've been riding for over 50 years and never taken any special measures with tyres. If your off season isn't too long I would do nothing! Only if leaving your bike long term would I do anything at all.

Using your atv jack has taken almost all the weight off the tyres. Simply put a piece of packing under the wheels, to stop your bike rocking. That should do the trick.

I store my bike all Winter without a lift. Sometimes I’ll move the bike a little. Never had a problem.

There is absolutely no need to raise your tires off the floor for winter storage.
