Default Tall guy and the Dynas

I’m 6’4” and 225 lbs. I’d like to get a Dyna. Can I fit on a low rider or should I stick to the super and wide glides? Looking for a 98-2002 model. Thanks

I'm 6'2" and ended up getting a wide glide. I also got forward controls that extend and additional 2" beyond stock.
2" doesn't sound like much, but it does make a difference.

If you find something you like, get it... You can always modify to fit...

I'm 6'5" with a 36" inseam and I fit on a Dyna just fine as long as it has forward controls. Very comfortable going down the road. I don't actually own one but spent some time on a 14 Fat Bob and liked it very much. Between the forward controls and the drag bars it fit me like a glove.

1997 Wide glide here, 34" inseam. Mid controls are terrible for me, I get cramps in my hip, NG. I had the 2" extensions, liked them for a long time. Recently took them off and found myself more comfortable without. But you taller then me, probably will work better for you. Wide Glides are for the taller crowd, that is what i would recommend to you. Super Glide is going to look like a clown bike under you. Low Rider, you are going to change to forwards so why not just get the WG in the first place. Good luck.

6'5" 200lbs and the Super Glide fits me okay. I'm running 16" handlebars with short risers, forward controls and had the seat shaved 2" to sit me back further. My lower back starts to hurt on long rides unless I have a bag to lean back on. Longest ride I've done was 11 hours and I was fine. I also added mid control pegs to give me another foot position for long rides.

I've rode an 05 Wide Glide and felt more comfortable but I like the handling of the super glide better.
