Default battery/Jump Start *Help*

Hello I posted this over in the CVO section also, hope it’s ok here as well?
I have a 2017 CVO Limited with only 300 miles. I had a battery tender on the bike all winter. She started up fine this weekend but turned over slow. I thought if I rode it that it would be fine however it would not start after I turned it off. The bike had power just not enough cranking amps to turn over and made a grinding type sound.
I ended up jump starting down a hill to get home. I tried charging it with a few chargers with no luck in it turning over. I removed the battery to test it and try charging one last time. I hastily used jumper cables from the bike to the battery and reversed the polarity in frustration. The horn blew loudly and I removed the cables from the battery. I did not attempt to start the bike. It blew the 20amp fuse in the fuse box. Everything seems to be ok (lights, radio etc) but the starter switch now does absolutely nothing. Any thoughts on what damage I have done?
Thank you.

Can’t help you with damage assessment. I have a batteryminder, that doesn’t charge if it senses that it was hooked up with reverse polarity. Might want to invest in that.

I had to read it a few times to better understand.
You had a dead battery.
Knowing this you:
Took battery out and tried charging it again..
With the removed motorcycle battery on floor, you used jumper cables from motorcycle battery on floor to battery cables on bike.
Unfortunately, you reversed polarity.
You blew the 20 amp fuse in the fuse box...I guess you replaced that blown fuse.
Everything seems to be ok (lights, radio etc) but the starter switch now does absolutely.
nothing.
I guess you still have the dead battery.
Conclusion:
Your battery is still dead and you need a new battery.
Is your bike under warranty?
Get a new battery, install correctly and see what happens.
Keep in mind that jumper cables add resistance so a weak battery and 10 feet of cable just makes things weaker.
DO NOT JUMP START FROM A RUNNING VEHICLE AS IT CAN CAUSE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS.

I Had a HD battery tender that went bad, so that is an option also, your tender could be kaput.

check all the fuses,
see if one of your buddies has a nice automotive charger to charge/test your battery, that will give you an idea what is going on, better than a tender or a jump start.

sometimes being in hurry costs a few bucks, just chalk it up to experience and get riding again.

IM,
Yes that is all correct.
The only thing is the battery isn’t completely dead.
Just not enough volts to turn over initially, always made a click sound then light grinding noise. Now there’s absolutely nothing which leads me to believe I have blown a relay or worse ECU?
Thanks

Have the battery tested at an auto part store.
Most will charge battery and load test for free.
It is reading like the battery is dead. Like it is gone.
A dead or sick battery would cause the problems detailed.
It seems like you have not tested the battery but instead tried charging it multiple times with multiple devices.
Trying to use a compromised battery could burn your costly charging system on the bike.
If bike is NOT under warranty then have the battery tested at an auto part store.
Reads like battery has a dead cell.

Forget removing the battery, having it tested etc..

The bike is under warranty, there is no reason to do anything.

Quit screwing around and let the dealer take care of it under warranty.
