Bikes turns off at stops? FP3?
Hey All,
I have a 07 Nightrain with Vance and Hines fp3, Cobra PowerPro HP 2-Into-1 Exhaust and Vance and Hines naked air cleaner. The bike runs and sounds great but….It has a nasty habit of dropping rpm and turning off at stops. It starts up with little problem if I give it enough throttle. It idles fine when first started but after a few miles it turns itself off…which mostly happens at traffic lights. Am I using the wrong map? The plugs are new along with the wires. It acts if it is not getting enough fuel...but I have no clue. HELP!!!!!

What map are you using and have you done any auto tuning?
I have a similar setup, FP3, Cobra PowerPro RPT 2in1 and K&N high flow a/c kit.
Mine did the same thing right after I did the stage 1. I used the V&H Pro Pie with High flow A/C. When coming to a slow turn or stop, the bike would drop below 900 rpm's then stall. I changed the map to generic 2 in 1 with high flow a/c and after that no more stalling. I did a short auto tune, in slow speed maneuvers, flashed it and no more problems at all.
I decided to do a full auto tune now though, I get a little backfire when shifting, not a lot but kinda annoying. Hoping the auto tune fixes it.
If all else fails for you, call V&H and they will create a special map for you free of charge.
