Throttle Limp Mode
I have a 2010 Ultra Limited and when i got out today literally 1 block from my apartment my bike lost power and would only idle. Ive been told this is a "limp mode" issue. Does anyone know how i can diagnose this and repair without taking to the dealership? I removed the plug from the throttle body, blew it out and applied some dielctric grease. I was told to try this from a friend who had this same problem awhile back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is exactly what I did when my bike was new (at about 1k miles ). I'm at 44k now and it hasn't happened since. BTW, I put some dielectric grease on my connection when mine happened...

through Thanks for the input. After looking the forum, I ran across several other post where other owners had the same problem and used the same fix as you recommended. Thanks again and hopefully that'll do it.
