Throttle Problems
I took my 09 R-K out for a spin around town today and dam near did'nt make it home. I was crusing at about 55 mph. when all the sudden I had no throttle. I pulled over on the side of the road and turned everything off, messed with the throttle and the ignition switch and then it started like nothing had happened. Went a few more miles and the same thing happed again. All in all three times this happened in a 5 mile stretch. Would this be the electronic ignition module?

If it is TBW unplug the plug from the throttle body and check the pins for corrosion and clean carefully. Put some HD pin grease or dielectric grease on them and re-assemble the plug. It worked on 2010 Trike. It was done under warranty. Mechanic said they had had several with same problem. Easy fix if that is the problem.

if this is the first ride of the season for you, it might be bad gas from sitting all winter long. it is best to take care of the obvious dumb stuff first. if you can't get it to run properly, hopefully your bike is still under warranty. has your bike thrown any error codes?
