Push rods and top dead center
Hello everyone, I have a 2003 softail. I have been working on replacing cam plate and gaskets. My problem is I’ve gotten everything put back on up to where I need my push rods at TDC, usually you put bike in 5th gear and spin the back tier and watch the push rods. Well I can’t get my back wheel to spin. It’s like it is locked up. The tensioner is not hitting the cam plate chain so that’s not it, I’m so close to done it’s driving me crazy. Any idea what is going on? Thank you for any input 🤙

Some are pretty tough to roll over. You need to rock the wheel back & forth.... kinda "bumping" it around. Some parts of the engine rotation will be easier than others.
