Hello all, I recently had my 15 sgs at the Indy for a 5000 mile service. All work was done and told bike checked out 100%
Rode back home and then another 300 or so miles since due to relentless rain. All seemed perfect. Today I'm out for a putt with my daughter and right out of the driveway I noticed a strange sound coming from the bike. Never heard it before and worried it could be something in the motor. After a few miles on a quiet country road I shifted into neutral and shut the bike down and coasted for a good bit. The noise was present although I can not pinpoint where it is coming from. Seems like the right side mid frame to rear area. Pulled over and looked over everything I could touch and nothing seemed or felt loose. I'm stumped. The best I can describe the noise is something metal , rattling, spinning? Or vibrating. Has anyone experienced this before? Any and all help appreciated. Thank you
You said you just had it serviced... check the belt tension. If your daughter was on the back the belt will be even tighter & can get noisy.

Had a chance to look bike over this past weekend. After putting up on the lift with bags off found that one of the slip ones had play side to side. There is a flat rubber piece that the muffler hangs from I had to shim out. Much less play in pipe now and no
longer hear anything out of the usual. Is this a normal wear part or is this part of a bigger problem? Thanks
