That`s thread sealant, the factory uses it for some reason.

It seems like a lot of people on the forums think it is needed because it was originally on there.

Just clean it off and make sure the o ring is in good condition.

Just noticed the double o ring, jeez....

I`m surprized it wasn`t leaking with 2 o rings on the plug.

Yes I cleaned it thoroughly and used new viton o ring. So far so good. The second o ring doesn’t look like it was viton. 🙄

Hi can anybody tell me the size of the derby cover that is on a 2018 fat bob as in mm or inch I think the are 185 mm Or 7. 2 inch can any body confirm this . Thanks
