Default Helmet suggestion

Alright so I’m looking for a helmet like Sons of anarchy. I understand they don’t protect as much, not concerned if it’s DOT I want a shallow helmet that fits snug. I don’t wear a helmet at all but to cross state line I need one

https://www.daytonahelmets.com/d.o.t...-shell-helmets Daytona has some DOT approved skull caps that are pretty decent.

I have a Daytona helmet and it's alright ,but i've been looking toi replace my little beanie helmet i've had for years. It has a single strap on it and all the ones i see now days have that double strap setup that i do not care for. I bought my current beanie at a swap meet and will be going to the next one to see if they still have them. The Daytona Easyrider style is what i like but don't care for the double strap. Maybe it calls for a mod.

Look at Akoury helmets. They are small and very comfortable. Also they are DOT approved. So if you get pulled over in a helmet state you are still legal.

I used to not wear a helmet around town then I got one of these an it's like not wearing one so I always wear it. Says it's DOT. I saw a post where a guy went down at 50 an it held up. I figure it's good for around town.

I have a Daytona flat black half helmet with the dual straps, I do not find these uncomfortable or a pain to use. I like it.

I second bikerhelmets.com. A guy in Hawaii had a couple of those when we traveled over there, and I could not believe how light they were, and they fit right in the saddlebags. Don't catch much wind, either. There's not much to them, but they seem built well.
