Default Advice needed

I got a FLHTC 20012 with a stock 103 on it... I have changed the header pipe out to after market pipe. No cystic ( Sp)converter . ..Night-stick mufflers..( still a 2into1 back into 2 exhaust). Put on the high flow intake air cleaner. And dynod the bike. . Dyno reads it turning 80hp. .. that's the back ground of where I'm at now..
. Here's the question... I'm happy with the Acceleration of the bike off the line up to say about 60 mph. But I want more power in 6 gear. . (More acceleration ) . I dont want to lose any of my top end speed. . But the bike needs more punch in its 6 gear. My old lady usually rides with me. So I know her weight slows the bike down...
... any suggestions on a good set of cams to buy for my bike...??
or an engine kit ?

Change drive pulleys. May change your top end a bit, but it'll improve your 6th gear "PULL"!

I dont want to lose any top end speed.. I want 115 mph at least with me and my wife on the bike....
I think I got ripped off on my dyno job. I feel he should have gotten more than 80 hp out of the bike...
.. I need advice on cams, I think. I switch into 6 gear early.
Usually at 63 mph. . I want a stronger pull in 6th gear form 65mph up to 120mph. .
 . .. cams maybe ?

Sounds to me like you want to have your cake, and eat it to. If you're on a budget you've gotta choose what you like more: top end speed, or acceleration.

If you got a few bucks:
Im thinking a full engine kit is what you want. You know what they say: "Go big or go home".
Bore those suckers out, new pistons, higher compression, and high lift cams. New map on the ecm etc...

If you've got a few more bucks:
just get that new crate 133 or whatever it is engine.

I'm think you did not tell the dyno tuner what you wanted. Most will tune from 0 to 70 mph and hp. I always tell my tuner I am looking for tork at 70 mph and able to pass in 6th gear without making a shift. Also reading your posts you most likely will need a cam for what your looking for. Or maybe put wife on a diet or leave her at home.LOL

-----> YOU <---- Tell my old Lady , she has to stay home !!
lol. , good luck with that... a engine swap is going to happen down the road. ( maybe summer of 2021.)
.. I will be back on the forums then asking about that. Then...

For now, I was just hoping for a top end cam...reading the wed sites , dont give me the infor. As you can tell , I'm more of a rider , than a mechinic.. .
... and yea, , in reply to the other guy... me and my old lady sit at 105 mph mostly. But, ied like 115 .
.. "Ride strong-Ride Proud" .
and thanks for the welcome. To the forums. I need the advice. .

well.. for one.. your glide reaches 115?

anyway..

you wouldnt lose that much on top end if you swapped pulleys..

if for example, youre tapping the limiter now in 6th at 115mph, youde be hitting the limiter at 110 instead, BUT, raise the limiter to 6k-6200 and youre back on par

if you swapped for a larger pulley, you would change the accelation ration and lose slightly on top.. BUT, that doesnt mean you wont reach it, youll just be revving higher at the same speed

thats the whole point of changing the pulley, by changing the pulley you get the motor higher in the rpm band where it makes more power quicker,

for example, instead of at 2200-2300 in 6th, at 65 youll be at 2400-2500 in 6th at 65mph and have quicker acceleration from 65 to 100

but seriously now.. 2up, full dresser 115?

ok . Flat level ground. . 111mph solo . 105mph with both of us on it. It's set at 6,200 rpms now. (From the guy that did the dyno job) . IED like a solid 115 with both of us on it.
.. harley cams are 255 . (What ever the hell that means.) . That what they are suggesting I put in .... with adjustable push rods .. . I wanted advice from the forums. .
.. just a quick set up . Until I can save up for a motor swap. .. I was thinking the right of set of cams would be the way to go. . New cams, and other dyno job. ..
Wanted advice on some cams.
..and yea.. I need to get out of that habit of switching into 6 gear to low.
