Default 2007 SE springer security

I am trying to program the add on HD smart siren 2 pager to my 2007 screaming eagle springer. If I understand correctly the bike comes with the smart siren 2 on the bike from the factory. If this is the case the pager should program easily, but not in my case. The instructions for the pager tell me how to put the pager in "learning mode" which is easy enough. Then it tells me to press the security button on the key fob. On the 2007's there is no button. I have tried everything I can think of but can not get anywhere. Any one have any suggestions?

The instructions on mine say to start with the bike and the pager off. Put the pager into search mode by holding down the button until the lights on the pager start to blink in sequence and the pager beeps every two seconds. Then turn the bike ignition on, then off. The pager should pick up the signal when the bike arms. I the pager times out, try again.

Good luck.

are you sure you have the add on siren (which contains the pager function)and not just the security system? does your bike chirp when you shut her off?
