Default Sticky throttle

Last ride I noticed the throttle was not snapping back to idle when I let go at a stop. Today I took apart the switch housing, detached the cables from throttle grip, pulled cables out of housing and lubricated cables with 3 in one oil. detached throttle cable will snap back freely when pulled and released also idle control cable moves freely. cleaned bar and grip, added light coat of oil to bar under grip and reassembled cables and switch housing. All appeared to be well, throttle operates smooth and easy and snaps back to idle........until I turned full right on handlebar.....at full right throttle sticks open sometimes. It appears as I turn right the throttle gets increasingly sticky till full lock then wants to hang up. I inspected cables-can't see any binding or pinching. Left turn no problem.
I noticed where the curved metal tubes,on cables, enter the switch housing they seam to be very loose. Not sure if this is normal, could be as handlebar turns far right creating more angle at entry creating friction point? Possible after 13 yrs. is just worn out?
Any suggestions?

Are your cables routed per the manual? I had that happen on a jap bike when the cable was routed incorrectly. Good luck.

Good suggestion, I just went and checked the manual, No, they are not. according to the book - cables should be routed between brake line and handlebar, approx .75 in. space, before routing under fuel tank.
Although they are routed the same way they have been with no previous problem. It doesn't appear that moving behind the brake line would cause a significant change if not restrict them even more.
I played with the throttle a little more and determined the lubrication did help some. At full right lock I can open to WOT and let go and it snaps back 9 out of 10 times. When It sticks I just wiggle the cable where the tube inserts into the housing and it will snap back.
Maybe I am worrying to much about a minor issue, it seems to me that a 1 in 10 chance of throttle sticking at WOT while in a full lock right hand turn is not very likely, if at all.
On the other hand non sure I can live with any chance at all of stuck WOT.
Cables are cheap and easy enough to replace. Just trying to determine if that is what I need to do? or maybe replace housing (expensive part) and grip too?

Did you shoot that video in your avatar?
I cringe every time I see it, wondering how hard her head slapped the pavement.
