Fairing bolt broken
I have a 2008 Street Glide. One of the 3 bolts that holds the windshield in place (the far left one) has the receiver nut broken from the inner fairing so that the bolt cannot tighten.
Question: Is the only fix for this to replace the whole inner fairing?
If this is the case, how tough is it to change the inner fairing?

If you’re talking about the female threaded insert that the windshield bolts thread into, I believe those Inserts can be replaced. If the socket the insert threads into is cracked I’d use some epoxy or jb weld to secure it in place. I’d try a few things before changing the whole inner fairing for the sake of one threaded insert.
