If you get the replacement bolt from the dealer, it will have the proper locking compound on it.
Blue loctite is all that is needed on a standard bolt (grade 8 of course).
Don`t use a stainless bolt, you want to be able to put some good torque on it.
As nomadmax said, this is an item you want to check periodically along with the critical fasteners.
Also check torque on the bolt that holds the shift lever at the transmission.
