Just installed the SE kit over the winter and like it. Can't speak to the other two, but any one is going to be better than the cast OEM. I ended up heating up the plate with a torch to install the bearings instead of pressing then in.

Unless you have an urge to get rid of the old spring loaded tensioners, why switch?

Can't speak for the OP, but I did the swap for the longevity of the hydraulic tensioner verses the spring loaded ones. Another reason is for the precision of the forged plate verses the cast OE one, which can cause seal issues. And the better performing oil pump that came with it was a nice upgrade.

I had that installed before ....it got ruined
I don't think the tech centered the pump n it chewed the plate.
I tore engine apart
Checked runoutDrained and flushed casesDid oil analysis

Now that I know everythjng else is ok....I'm upgrading to 98
New camsNew pistons
Converted it from mm efi to carb.

I have the fueling conversion kit in mine. It's been a year and have had no problems. My buddy recommended them, so that was the reason I chose them. Great product, and had no issues with fit and install!
