Im installing a Rad Racing skate rack on my Sportster 883. The mounting bolt needs to come out from the inside of the rear fender through the hole closest to the shock (center of the 3). The mounting screw is long enough to where the tire blocks it from being able to fit into the hole from the inside. If I get the bike on a center stand would the rear tire drop enough to make room for the screw or am I going to have to remove the whole tire? You will gain some room getting getting it up on a Jack, letting air of tire may make it easier to move the bolt, and removing the shock bolt.
