What do you guys use to clean your Bikes? It’s been 15 years since I last owned a bike. Harleys detail kit is out of stock everywhere. There are tons of products and options out there. Back in the day you just had basic soap. There are so many options and all kinds of technology in these cleaning supplies. Thanks for your help!
I use Maguires car wash for regular / routine washing. I don't think it's a good idea to use dish washing detegent because it will remove wax from the painted parts faster than detergents specifically for automotive use. I use the original Scrubbing Bubbles on the wheels (works great on chrome hubs and spokes) and tires, then rinse off with RO water to prevent water spots. Then use my leaf blower to dry as much as possible, and finish it up with a microfiber towel. I also always run the engine to operating temperature to evaporate any water hiding in the nooks and crannies of the engine and other places.
Osscasionally I will use Pig Snot or S3 on the black engine parts to keep them looking good. And I will also occasionally use tire dressing from the local auto parts shop.
Great Thanks Guys. I have used Meguiars on my cars before and it worked great. Ill pick up some more of that.
Do any of you use the waterless spray cleaners for a quick clean?
I have used some of the marine ones and they work great on the boat. I see there are some for cars/bikes.

If you use the waterless spray cleaners, you will put micro fine scratches in your paint from any dust/grit particles that you are wiping off. A good rinse off with water (no power washing) and then your choice of car/motorcycle wash soap is the best to remove built up grime.
Even dust is abrasive when wiped off with quick detailer.
