Tenders arent supposed to overcharge your battery, but I dont trust them. One day a month is plenty to keep them charged. And thats in an unheated Wisconsin garage.
Im looking forward to Winter. Im going to retire and I bought a seasons pass to a small ski hill near me. Im going to ski, and take my grandkids tubing. Hot chocolate and fresh air, not video games and videos. Just like motorcycles, I know skiing wont last forever and Im going to cherish every moment.
OP, you should ride in 50F. Thats my favorite temperature. I can wear my leathers, air is crisp, bike runs great.
Lots of people down south dont get winter, its just not something they can imagine having fun in. Winter with the proper gear is awesome I had the best time growing up in Canada , the activities were always what you made of them. cross Country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skating. We had a horse n sleigh and I had a 3 Husky team and sled Best memories of my life.

Dont get me wrong, I love having actual season as opposed to hot and hotter. And it actually makes us enjoy having a bike even more. All the anticipation builds up in the winter waiting for riding season to begin. The bikes up here like mine wich is an 06 are in mint condition because theyre ridden only 4-6 months a year. My 06 has 49000kms on it.
