Winter storage

Used to also do baggies and rubber band. Haven't done it in 10 years,but could idea.
I don't run carb dry. One counter argument is bad for seals. But I use seafoam /stabilizer, so I don't worry.
It's only beginning of September. You got plenty of riding.
I have always been of opinion to never start unless going to ride. Read in playboy advisor
I do know some snowmobiles that run in summer to keep gaskets lubed. But they take up to temp.
I've seen vehicles leak after being parked.
That being said, I don't start my bikes anyways..
I change oil based on mileage. And make sure to get hot when I go for ride.

Tenders arent supposed to overcharge your battery, but I dont trust them. One day a month is plenty to keep them charged. And thats in an unheated Wisconsin garage.
Im looking forward to Winter. Im going to retire and I bought a seasons pass to a small ski hill near me. Im going to ski, and take my grandkids tubing. Hot chocolate and fresh air, not video games and videos. Just like motorcycles, I know skiing wont last forever and Im going to cherish every moment.
OP, you should ride in 50F. Thats my favorite temperature. I can wear my leathers, air is crisp, bike runs great.

Lots of people down south dont get winter, its just not something they can imagine having fun in. Winter with the proper gear is awesome
I had the best time growing up in Canada , the activities were always what you made of them. cross Country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skating. We had a horse n sleigh and I had a 3 Husky team and sled
Best memories of my life.

Just wondering where you are in WI....Also, when did you sell your '03 Ultra?
