I just picked up a 2014 EG and I'm pretty cramped on my feet compared to my old 2005 road king.
Not sure if this is fake news but I heard if you move the left to the right and the right to the left it'll move the forward back a bit. I am getting an extension gear shifter.
The boards are the same Left to Right. You could check out the Tallboyscycles floorboard mounts. Moves them down and forward. They're awesome if you're not short.

I can't stand my 2016 compared to old frame. I am hoping it is the custom seat, which pushed me forward. Cause I hate it. I am not a huge guy either, But my legs are cramped. I don't want to bring my legs back, but want more room
