Default Kick stand HELP!!

Ok asking for some help and advise. so last week I was taking a sharp left turn and my kickstand was up but not far enough and was dragging so I stopped at the Harley dealership and picked up a OEM spring and installed it and it still doing the same thing once the kickstand is up, it falls back down a quarter of the way anyone have an idea ?
Anyone know how it can be fixed or tightened?
Thank you!!!!

Did you follow the service manual process when you installed the spring?

Look at the tab on the side stand that the spring hooks one. Bet it's bent.. It's typically really hard to bend the stand itself but I guess it's possible..

If it looks good, look at the hole in the frame. Maybe it got damaged.

I have searched and cant find anything as far as fixing the issue on the jiffy stand. is there a way to adjust it besides replacing the spring again?

Bend that tab up that your heel catches to deploy the stand, that will give some more clearance.

I just changed the spring on my ElectraGlide and on my wife's Sportster. Two different part numbers and one was longer than the other. Don't remember which one was which. Any chance they gave you the wrong one?

Do you still have the actual bag, not the receipt? You could look it up on Ronnie's parts finder to double check.

What did new springs do for you? Better snap in place? Considering a different spring for my floppy Heritage leg.
