I have a Gringo that is very comfortable and with a little custom paint it looks great too.
And no, that isn't orange peel in the paint. It a reflection of the leaves on the tree.
Your head must be shaped like mine - I went to Cycle Gear store, they had the largest selection of helmets from various makers in various sizes. From there you could order any colors offered if they didn't stock.
For whatever reason, only the Shoei fit. It wasn't close, the others flopped or pinched. I don't know why, that's just the way it was. The Shoei helmet shape was termed 'modified oval'. But even the modified oval shapes in other helmet brands didn't fit at all.
When I saw the Shoei price I gulped but paid it. Once. Hand-layered in Japan. It shows.
I tried the helmets at the local hd I think they are made by Simpson , and some HJC at another store I stumbled in a honda shop they had a shoei that fit
