Any recommendations for real world rain gear pants,
Or bibs, that you can pull on over your jeans easily, that stay 100 percent waterproof and will last 5 years or more.

I have been on a 300 mile ride and it rained pretty much the whole way. Being behind a shield I cannot say how hard it was actually raining though. Anyway I bought what really are cheap over trousers and surprisingly I stayed dry. The thing is they don't appear to be cheaply made as they are 2 or 3 layers of material.

5 years ago I bought a pair H/H ( Helly Hansen ) rain pants , in black . I bought them to just pull over my jeans , they have a zipper at the pant leg , so you can put them on without having to remove your boots . I've been in some real down pours and they work great .
