Holy crap - will have to look at my bottles. Do you know if Sea Foam has shelf life also?

I use Stabil with a fresh tank of non-ethanol premium gas making sure I run it long enough to go through the whole system.
With that done and a battery tender hooked up she fires right up in the spring after the long winter nap.
My bike turned 4 years old last month,still have the original battery.

On a side note, you guys are depressing me with the annual fuel stabilizer discussion. Still hoping to get a ride or two in.

Damn mini apes.
Using too much is no bueno, though. It could get your winter oil dirty doing that. Just read the can. The Sportster I bought in April this year ran 8 tanks of treated gas going through one 16 oz can getting its injectors cleaned up from over two years of storage.
I've used it storing my bikes through the long Ohio winters since year 2000, they always start up like they were never parked.

Meh - Ottawa is moderate compared to the edge of North American Siberia here. You're fine. Guys are still out riding here in 55 degrees F. I'm putting up woodpiles, then it's snowmobiling season.
