I realize it's easy for me to say since non-ethanol fuel is so easy to find here in Iowa but personally I don't trust any ethanol fuel with any stabilizer for long term storage. I do burn it on occasion when I'm out on the road and have limited options but I avoid it anytime I can. Any marinas nearby? They almost always carry non-ethanol and I'd go through the hassle of getting it from there and the added cost of marine fuel.
I was surprised to see that the owner's manual suggests storing a motorcycle with a fuel stabilizer.
The mechanics I know recommend nothing but a full tank of zero-ethanol gas.
I had a friend who was a chemist for Exxon who pointed out that their R&D budget far eclipsed that of Stabil or Seafoam.

Should still use a stabilizer with non ethanol gas. Even states that push ethanol gas like mine (Minnesota) have gas stations with no ethanal gas for special engines like motorcycles, boats, ATV's, lawn mowers, chain saws, etc. Since the M8 takes premium octane, I always get premium non ethanol from a top tier brand gas station. No issues.
