I live in Western New York, and it’s pretty hard to find any fuel that’s non-ethanol. Most of the pumps say “may contain up to 10% ethanol”. I use 93 octane almost always but I still use starbright when I put her to sleep for winter storage. Actually did it yesterday. 🥲. I use the little 1 oz bottle so I don’t have to worry about how long it’s been on my garage shelf.

If ya'll are going to be letting your scoots sit for that long. Just drain the damn gas out. Jeez.

If the tank's empty there's going to be air in it. Air has water in it. I agree that drained is better than stale gas varnish in the carb or injectors.
The easiest thing to do is treat it, top it off and ride a few miles to get the treated gas throughout the system, for me. Draining an EFI tank is a minor pain.

60° this weekend. Time for one last thrashin'. Top off the tank with pure gas, add some sea foam, and go. I always make sure the tank is completely full when it's parked that last time.
Draining the tank is a bad idea.
