I want to have my wheels, swingarm and a bunch of other stuff chrome plate, but everyone in Wisconsin is apparently busy enough already. Anybody have luck with the chrome exchanges on eBay? Thanks
How far north into WI are you? Theres a couple places in Aurora, IL that still do it. Its hideously expensive now, the EPA wants to legislate it out of existence just like everything else.
Actually I only found 1 in Aurora that look like they do walk in small stuff like bike parts. I guess things have changed:

make sure the shop does harley and they have a good rep.
if is older stuff, double that effort, really never seen aftermarket chrome hold up, now the show bikes, yes but they rarely hit the road and a groomed extensively.

thats a good point about does Harley. The Harley factory chrome does seem to hold up really well and doesnt match aftermarket perfectly. Should be close enough so long as the pieces arent next to each other
