Wife and I have HiViz H-D sets and love them for the occasional sprinkle. Light-weight and packed into a carry bag, very easy to keep handy and pull-out when necessary.
That said, there have been times I've experienced too much rain and not enough suit...

I've just bough tourmaster over the years, me and OL. what does harley do for the cost that is better? Not saying it isn't, but just wondering what the high end differences are.

I went on a trip recently and borrowed my dads HD rain gear. It kept me completely dry as it rained almost every day. I haven't had any experience with other brands of gear though. Fortunately one of the members in here sold me his gear, should be here in a few days, so my search is over.
