I can't believe I'm going to reply again. Back the tow vehicle rear wheels onto Rhino Ramps to lower the rear of the trailer. Since you don't have any friends, get a remote control for your winch. Sit on bike, push button, pull bike onto trailer using winch and whatever strap setup you have. To power the winch ,I suggest a bunch of hamsters running on wheels, tuning a generator. Or possibly a small pocket size nuclear reactor. I hook the winch to a spare car battery, but that can be kinda complicated. In 42 years of riding I've been left on the side of the road twice. One time a buddy came and got me, one time I took an Uber home, got truck/trailer and a passerby helped me push bike onto trailer. It took less time to rescue two bikes than it takes to read this thread.

Get this for your winch:

Well, if nothing else, all who replied trying to help have convinced me to get a HF Badland ZXR 2500lb winch w/wireless remote for $79.99. I will be able to safely load my bike alone this way, also in the case of a breakdown which I hadn't considered at first; this will please my wife.

I guess I should thank Rounders for his admonishment, it got me thinking.

I think a wacky system of winches and lines and pulleys and block tackle batteries remote controls pulleys poles and gears will make it look like you're a very ambitious get er done self sufficient preper - and having to weld something is a nice touch.
However I really don't have a problem pushing my bike onto my trailer. Still even prefer U-Haul for the convenience for breakdowns 9:00 to 5:00 weekdays.
I don't have any friends either.

Huh?? Winch at front of trailer run line to bike bottom of trailer.

I own a trailer. I don't want to leave my bike on road and wait for uhual to open unless I am drunk
