Well, it looks like winter has decided to show up in the Black Hills. It's snowing right now and looking very white. Weather guys are saying ~ 2"'s in the Hills and dusting down in Rapid. 60°'s next week.
We need the moisture bad !
Yep its killing me. I do ride all year but this on January 12 I had out patient surgery that was to be a two week recovering things went wrong and still dealing with it. I hope be next Tuesday its all over. Hope to be back on the bike in a week or two. No that 62 chev conv is beautiful and one of my top 10 favorite cars. In 1965 I had a 62 conv 327 4 speed after about year a car broadsided me totaled. I have always wanted to replace it. I was just thinking of selling my Corvette Conv and looking for one. I seen one in Reading Pa for sale.
Last Saturday it rained most of the day and washed away all the road salt on the roads. So I got in a nice ride yesterday. It was in the upper 60's without much wind. Supposed to be back to winter later today.

Kansas city, Mo - I got nice ride on Thursday also. The temps in the mid 60's but it was windy with 35- 40 mph gusts. Today winters back highs only gonna be 37* with a chance of snow tonight. It was fun while it lasted.
This has been a brutal winter in Michigan.
Damn globel warming.
Last rode Jan 9th and it looks like not again until at least the same date in March.
2 solid months.
I even had to hook up the battery tender once already.
But it's almost over.
Only 4 more winter weekends!
Anything over 32° is good as long as it's been that way for a day or so so that there's no ice or snow on the road.

I had to go out and blow snow off the drives. Maybe an inch total. Sun is blazing and it feels way warmer than the high 28° my outside thermometer is showing. The roads ae wet with melt = no riding for a few days.
60°'s next week ! Cool. But it is just beautiful out today.
Glorious Day!
First ride to work since December.
27 degrees this morning in Detroit but it's going to be 55 when I leave here.
Don't generally like to ride under 32° when there's the possibility of ice on the road - but 55 this afternoon!
While it may be another 2 or 3 weeks before it's this good again (spring is 3 weeks away) - The new motorcycling season has begun!
Meteorologically, today is the first day of Spring . So there you go Mr. R, you actually got out before Spring had Sprung!
It's been feeling Spring like for a few weeks were I am. Nice,,,,,other than that means the grass is going to start growing and the tourists will be flocking in. Tourists.....Hemmm.
